The dome light will stay on if you change the switch to the highest setting. To turn off the dome light, you have to adjust the switch’s lowest setting.

If the dashboard light doesn’t change even with the adjustment, then the switch is faulty. If there is an open switch, make sure to press it to see if the dome light goes off.

If the switches don’t click at all, they are faulty and you can leave the car running for 7 minutes.

Shut the doors one by one and remove the key after you turn off the car. After you close all the doors, the dome lights should turn on.
